Thank you for taking the time to sit with us and share your story. Can you share a little bit about you and your company?
Thank you for this opportunity to share my story! Well I always had a love for fashion and transforming things into something better to me. From a little kid transforming cardboard boxes into a pretty dresser. To transforming blank canvas rooms in homes into something people would love to see, is what I do.
A question so many people are interested in, is how you got started. Can you share a little bit about what you were doing before this, and what that moment was like for you when you decided to start this new journey?
I actually have been an accountant for over 25 years, still that was transforming numbers in to something, either balancing them out or putting them into a report for people to understand. So I have been transforming things all my life. So how my business got started was I bought a new construction home and I sat with a designer. Picking out all the fixtures in the home. And I told her I would love to do this job and asked her how she got started. She told me she went to school for interior design and got Certificate or degree in interior design and what I should do. So I saw that going to interior design school was quite lenghly. So I had decided after much. After much Research in interior design I decided that it was to best to get certified as a home stager. Because this is something I was doing transforming my homes. Also helping my friends with their homes.
To get certification. So I got certified with Home Staging Resources (HSR). Which through out the process you set up your own business. So once I got my certification. My business was all put together and all I had to do was get out and start staging home. Keep in mind this 2010 before HGTV.
Let's take a little bit of a detour, and rewind the clock a little bit. What did you want to be as a kid? And how did that influence the person you are today?
As a kid I wanted to be Airline stewardess, actually that was the plan graduation from high school. I always loved to travel. But that all changed when I decided to venture out here to California.
Have you fully let go of that childhood dream? And where do you see yourself going in the next ten years?
Actually I have not, I sometimes still think about being a stewardess part-time now. Still traveling to see the world.
Now, I have found that with successful people, there is always someone pivotal as either a mentor, parent, teacher, or someone that you look to for advise, that helped set you on this path. Could you share who that person was? And what impact that had on the person you are today?
I would say my aunt Earlease, as a child she would drive from DC to NY to pick us up every summer to visit her. She gave me the drive to get up and go do the things that I wanted to do, see other things outside of my hometown. If you want something you got to make it happen.

What was one take away that you learned from that person? And how did it translate into your business today?
At the young age 18 I moved to Washington DC to live with my aunt, she continued to inspire me to do the things I wanted to do.
When we work with businesses, we focus a lot on their "Why?". What is your "Why"? What is the driver behind your company, and why you and your team wake up each day and give it your all?
I love helping people and transforming their homes, seeing the look on faces when their home looks completely different is what drives me to continue.
Let's dive deeper into your products and services. You already gave an overview, but how do your products or services help your customers? And what makes them different from your competitors?
Right now I transform my business and services a bit. I not only stage homes, I now have my real estate license and also sell homes. One stop shop. Someone wanting to sell their home, I can list it and if it needs that extra touch I don't have to look for a home stager. I offer FREE Professional home staging for anyone that list their home with me if needed. This is what makes me different than the others.
Let's unpack that even further. Let's pick one aspect of your business. What makes it so unique? And how does it change you or your customer's experience?
This uniqueness is not only for helping Realtors get homes sold faster & for more money, but I'm also helping directly to the home owner now and able to work my magic with them.
Let's dive into your customer's journey a little bit. Can you share with us, how do your customers discover you and your brand? What are their next steps? And what is the experience you would like to see your customers go on, when working with you and your brand?
My website is Justherightouch.com, but I am listed everywhere, all social media platforms Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn Just look for the Teal/Turquoise color that's me. My specialty is working with builders, new construction. They love seeing their properties come to life.
Let's rave about your customers for a minute. Can you share a story about one of your clients or customers, that either touched your heart, or made an impact with you and your team?
I had a customer when she saw her home she couldn't wait to share with her friends and family. She started calling people while I was there, telling them they had to come see her house. I guess one person said we seen your place before. She said noooo you haven't seen it like this before. She invited people over right away to see her home.
I've had people decide not to sell their home after the staging and purchased everything I put into the home. Just a few of things transforming homes does.
Everyone likes an inside scoop. What detail or secret about either you, or your company, is something most people might not know?
Oprah Winfrey talk about me & my business on stage with 15,000 people in her "Live the life you want Tour" in Miami. I was famous for a weekend.
Final thoughts. What feeling or benefits would you like your customers or clients to take away when working with you and your team?
I was want my clients to feel happy about their decision to work with me and I will see it on their face with the smiles.
Last question. How can people find out more about you and your company?
