Thank you for taking the time to sit with us and share your story. Can you share a little bit about you and your company?

Staging Styling SaQred Spaces helps clients local and around the world get their listings sold faster through the power of Feng Shui and home staging. I love to play a part in the designing process of someone's forever home, from the color selection to the furniture placements in the home. We have worked with clients in Australia, The US, Skopje and More.

A question so many people are interested in, is how you got started. Can you share a little bit about what you were doing before this, and what that moment was like for you when you decided to start this new journey?

As an previously licensed realtor my career was short lived when I started to show newly built homes. I was more intrigued in how they were decorated than in selling the home. Ha. Now I design and decorate and get the home to the closing table with realtors, investors, home owners and brokers.

Let's take a little bit of a detour, and rewind the clock a little bit. What did you want to be as a kid? And how did that influence the person you are today?

As a kid I wanted to be around money. So I pretended to be a cashier. Then I would go into the store with my dad and I would collect color chips and I didn't know what to do with them then but I loved to keep them and look at them. As I look back on those visits to Lowe's and home Depot I realize that I manifested myself into the color expert I am today.

Have you fully let go of that childhood dream? And where do you see yourself going in the next ten years?

No. I still want to be around loads of money, but now I am the 'cashier' of my own businesses/brands.

Now, I have found that with successful people, there is always someone pivotal as either a mentor, parent, teacher, or someone that you look to for advise, that helped set you on this path. Could you share who that person was? And what impact that had on the person you are today?

My dad was my greatest influence and he still is. He took me everywhere with him whether it was to the pawn shop to get tools or to home Depot to purchase paint. I love him for all that he is and will always be for me. He always told me I can do anything I put my mind and heart into.

What was one take away that you learned from that person? And how did it translate into your business today?

I learned from dad how to commit to something and finish it. I always finish my tasks and some tasks take me a bit longer but I try to push to the finish line and for the most part I do.

When we work with businesses, we focus a lot on their "Why?". What is your "Why"? What is the driver behind your company, and why you and your team wake up each day and give it your all?

I love design, I love seeing people happy and content. To be a contributing factor in their happiness makes me happy.

Let's dive deeper into your products and services. You already gave an overview, but how do your products or services help your customers? And what makes them different from your competitors?

There aren't a lot of African American Feng Shui experts that I am aware of. My expertise can open up a market not only for my business but for others as well and get others from my community interested in the topic and more than likely shop with me and others.

Let's unpack that even further. Let's pick one aspect of your business. What makes it so unique? And how does it change you or your customer's experience?

I offer similar solutions as many other successful Feng Shui and I interior design experts. A beautifully designed home but no one has my personality. My vision. My calling. Only I can express my expertise and creativity no one else can do that for me. How I see art is different than how others see it. And no one can fill my shoes the way I can. And my clients respect my uniqueness.

Let's dive into your customer's journey a little bit. Can you share with us, how do your customers discover you and your brand? What are their next steps? And what is the experience you would like to see your customers go on, when working with you and your brand?

I blog, I talk about my business as much as I can and receive word of mouth and I promote my business in other brands I have to see if that soi would be interested in my brand for design.

Let's rave about your customers for a minute. Can you share a story about one of your clients or customers, that either touched your heart, or made an impact with you and your team?

So, one of my clients whom I walked with in their journey from divorce, to cancer to now...to see her transition it brings me to joyful tears to be able to see her through it all and be a ministry for her and not just a designer through those adversities and beautiful moments. Now that she's cancer free I get to help her decorate her new home. It's a beautiful feeling.

Everyone likes an inside scoop. What detail or secret about either you, or your company, is something most people might not know?

The secret is I walk with my ancestors and I am tapped into my shamanic background when I do space clearings for a property.

Final thoughts. What feeling or benefits would you like your customers or clients to take away when working with you and your team?

That I am more than a business, I am friend you can turn to whether it be for prayer or emotional support I am rather intuitive and I love helping people and ministering when I can. I do not do this in a religious way but in a divine way just turning on a 'light' for people.
